:: SENATE NEWS ::

{ JOC } Constitution was ratified by the Senate 05 Aug 2008. In addition there have been two amendments that were ratified on 07 Sep 2008.

The 1st Amendment expands the powers of the Leader of the clan to modify the Constitution at will provided that the Leader posts what's being changed and why in a member accessible area of the forums.

The 2nd Amendment expands the candidature for Deputy Leader Elections to 30 days and one week for votation.

There is a 3rd Amendment Proposal that is currently being voted on in the Senate pertaining to clan alliances and the process by which clan alliances may be pursued.

{ JOC } Servers

PUG Server

PUG Server will remain as is and all are cautioned that the PUG server is not moderated so play there at your own risk. A PUG manual will be developed and made available at a later date.

CTF Server

The Senate has made the following changes to the CTF Server:

- Enable Rocket Launcher (Full Guns)

- Update the bots to make them harder to kill

- No auto Team

FFA Server

The Senate has made the following changes to the FFA Server:

- The new FFA server is no longer password protected, although it still has custom maps.

- The new training server (3 slots, previous duel server) still has to be password protected, but is up.

Senate

Senate is a parliamentary and executive organ aimed to manage the clan in a democratic way. This big council is built up by the "President" (JOC Deputy Leader), by the "Permanent Member" (JOC Leader), and by a number of Senators that till now is 1 Senator every 5 members. The rank of the Senator is {SE}. The Senators are elected by vote. The charge lasts 6 months. The ranks allowed to run for Senator charge are JK, JM, JC, JGM, SW, SM, SL and DLS.
Senate works like a right and proper senate: all the proposals are risen and the final decision comes by voting. The President whose charge lasts 1 year, has the power to coordinate the votes in the Senate, and coordinate the Senate. Senators have the right to discuss and vote. The task of the Senators is take decisions about politics and community life. They are game servers administrators, TeamSpeak Administrators and low power site administrators.
A Senator can have a special task. The special tasks are:
-Welcome Committee (Committee to follow new candidates to join the clan, and help new members)
-Inner Relationships (with the clan members). (Senator who report the decison of the Senate to other members)
-External Relationships (Senator with the task of the main ambassador, but I remember you, all Senators can be ambassadors)
-Financial Resource Control (Senator with the task to control the financial movements and donations)
The higest rank Senotors will form the Jedi and Sith Councils.

President of the Senate
The President whose charge lasts 1 year, has the power to coordinate the Senate and coordinate the votes in Senate. He manages the Senatorial forum, starts vote, organizes meeting etc. There is no election for the President of the senate, this charge is taken by the Deputy Leader of the Clan. The President has not special powers, he is only the coordinator of the Senate, the main moderator of the Senatorial Forum.
